Buonissimo – Something you say when you eat something incredible.

Buonissimo Bakery was born from the passion of two Italian pastry chefs who wanted to bring premium-quality patisserie products to the masses. We believe a delicious, traditional-style cake or pastry is something everyone should enjoy. And now they can.

Founded in 2016, with a vision to take supermarket bakery products to the next level using traditional methods and high-quality ingredients, Buonissimo Bakery now supplies Australia and New Zealand’s biggest retailers, including Woolworths and Coles.

We’ve also recently launched our Buonissimo Cucina range, so you can bring a slice of Nonna’s cooking home with you, wherever you are.

After only 7 years in operation, we’ve become one of Australia’s leading suppliers of baked goods to major retailers.

When Buonissimo Bakery began, our aim was to have a purpose-built facility focused on the commercial manufacturing of bakery products. We set goals of becoming a major supplier to supermarket chains both within and outside of Australia.

Since then, we’ve successfully delivered on this plan, by being a strategic supplier of choice to supermarkets in both Australia and New Zealand, manufacturing and supplying a wide range of premium sweet and savoury products for both private-label and supermarket brands.

Our traditional roots, paired with our ability to innovate is what sets us apart from others. We continue to produce high-quality, on-trend products at a high volume without compromising on quality.

Using traditional methods and only the best ingredients, we’ve been able to make premium products accessible to a large audience.

Our Team

We started as a team of two passionate pastry chefs, and have since built the Buonissimo Bakery team to over 80 staff members. True to our name, excellence is at the heart of everything we do, and what we strive for day in, day out.

At Buonissimo Bakery, we take great pride in our products and facility, and are thrilled to be awarded the supplier of the year for Coles in 2022, Woolworths New Zealand Bakery Supplier of the year 2024, and also at Woolworths for two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019
